Where to Warm Up in Southern West Virginia – Coffee Shops

The weather in West Virginia can be unpredictable.  Luckily, Southern West Virginia has a number of cute cafes and coffee shops that are sure to help you stay warm (cool) and caffeinated no matter the season!

(in our opinion … hot coffee, cold brews, hot or iced lattes, smoothies and more can hit the spot no matter what the thermometer says outside!) 

Chocolate Moose Roasted Coffee

Maybe you want a little adventure with a side of coffee? Then check out the Chocolate Moose Coffee shop. Located in the heart of Beckley and a part of the Outside-In Climbing Gym, you can grab a cup of joe and take on the rock climbing wall. It’s the perfect way to spend a cold day inside with delicious treats and a little fun!

Cathedral Cafe

One of the most unique restaurants is housed in an old church in downtown Fayetteville. Cathedral Cafe is known for delicious breakfast staples like cinnamon roll pancakes and waffles. Pair that with an organic, fair-trade coffee or espresso to help warm you up this winter.

Conveniently located in Ansted, WV near Hawks Nest State Park.  Stop in for the perfect cup of coffee or latte. Also enjoy homemade breakfast and lunch items at Gran Robbie’s.
