Message: On October 15 and 16 my family and I took our annual “West Virginia Trip.” Although some of us have moved out of the state, each year we return and explore a different part of West Virginia. This year we began our trip in downtown Lewisburg where we enjoyed local food and walked through several antique shops and art galleries. We spent a pleasant night in a cabin at Pipestem (after first getting lost b/c of our GPS). In the morning, after a filling breakfast at the lodge, we hiked down the Canyon Rim Trail. They are not kidding when they say it is steep! After finally making it back up the hill, we left the area, stopping for some fried green tomatoes at Tamarack. We all had a great time and are looking forward to our next WV adventure.
