Wings of Wonder, Birds of Prey: Twin Falls

Live birds of prey at Twin Falls Resort State Park are presented by the Three Rivers Avian Center (TRAC). The educational birds are a great opportunity to learn what birds say “who cooks for me, who cooks for you all?” as well as to meet other raptors.
The evening program is all about raptors native to West Virginia: hawks, eagles, falcons, and owls. You’ll learn about the habitat, diet, and behavior of each bird presented, the most common causes of injury to each species, and the laws protecting these special birds. There is no fee to attend. Open to the public, the program lasts about an hour and is staged at Shelter No. 4 at Twin Falls Resort State Park. Questions are welcomed. This is a family-friendly event.
