HEADLINER: Mike Speenburg (Bio)
Raised on hush puppies and fried bologna, comic Mike Speenberg has taken his own unique brand of generational comedy all over the country, sharing the stage with other comedic greats like Mitch Hedberg, and Lewis Black, Dave Attell, and Bob Saget.
Fueled by stories of home and family, love of country, and being drunk in public, Speenberg’s comedy hits home with every one of us who have lived through crazy step-parents, above-ground pool parties, and square pizza with canned corn.
Mike Speenberg is quickly becoming “The Voice of His Generation”. His live shows are being called a “Perfect blend of Jeff Foxworthy and Dennis Leary”. He’s performed everywhere from Las Vegas to Japan with everyone from Robin Williams to Mitch Hedberg and been featured on everything from “Bob and Tom” to “The Paul Harvey Show”. In 2013 Mike was an International Semi-Finalist in Comedy Central’s “UP NEXT” Comedy Competition. In 2016 he was chosen to appear on Pureflix Comedy All-Stars hosted by Louie Anderson. Mike filmed his 45-minute DryBar Comedy Special in 2018. It’s been viewed over 8 million times.
OPENING ACT: Don Garrett (Bio)
The Virginia native is the self-proclaimed “Chuff Daddy” of Comedy. His clean and witty comedic style is suitable for people of all ages. Named one of Charlotte’s Up-And-Coming Comedians in 2017. Don’s motto is “Laughter is an instant vacation.” He loves every opportunity to provide a journey filled with laughter. Don has opened for Sean Patton & Last Comic Standing winner Jon Reep. With an unbeatable sense of humor, devilishly quick wit, and club-tested, ever-evolving repertoire, Don Garrett has delighted comedy lovers for years.
Don’s clean comedy added with his grasp on a wide range of subjects equals top-notch entertainment. Don’s comedy offers a range that relates to different types of audiences, from children right up to adults and entertainment for the elderly.
