One Night Only – Young Talent Performance at Carnegie Hall
March 7 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Carnegie Hall is working in partnership with Greenbrier County music and theatre educators to offer a performance opportunity for accomplished music students in grades 6-12. Video entries for solo performers and ensembles will be accepted for a criteria-based judging process, with selected students participating in a live performance in the Hamilton Auditorium at Carnegie Hall on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
The One Night Only Showcase will be a ticketed event open to the public, and all performers are encouraged to bring family and friends to support their performance. Each participating student will receive one complimentary ticket. Event tickets will be available for students of all ages at $10 each and $15 for the general public.
One Night Only will be supported by a student stage crew, sound engineers, and light technicians, under the guidance of the professional team at Carnegie Hall. A student MC will be selected to host the Showcase!

GUIDELINES:
– Only one song/instrumental entry piece per musician/group.
– Entries may only be submitted with the permission of all performing students.
– All performers MUST be present at the required rehearsal on Wednesday, March 6 at 6 p.m., in addition to the Showcase on Thursday, March 7th.
– Video entries may be attached to this form in a MOV. or MP4 format, limited to 100 Mb. Larger files may be submitted by embedded link to YouTube, Dropbox, or a similar platform.
– Entries should clearly show all participants playing their instruments (for musicians) or singing (vocalists). Please DO NOT record yourself up close!
-All entries should begin with the submitting student identifying themselves/group and the name of the performance piece.
– Entries MUST be labeled with the submitting student’s name and the name of the performance piece. Improperly labeled entries may be subject to disqualification.
