Mountain Color Art Show/Arts Festival
October 6 - October 14
A week of arts activities from October 6-14 is being dubbed “West Virginia’s most colorful arts festival.” Scheduled to coincide with peak leaf season in Richwood, the Mountain Color Art Show has exploded into a dozen activities for art lovers.
The week offers something for everyone: the beginning artist, the art collector, the art instructor, the art vendor, the writer, the art connoisseur and even the theater lover. Here’s a list of all that’s going on in Richwood that week.
Artify Richwood. October 6.
Open Air Richwood. A top prize of $1500 will be offered for the best piece of art completed outdoors and in one day. Saturday, October 7, 2023.
Mountain Color Art Show is in its 39th year. The show opens Sunday, October 9 and runs through Saturday October 14.
Art Walk Richwood on October 14 is a day-long street fair for artists, published authors, musicians, as well as food and wine vendors.
Gallery exhibits. Two of Richwood’s galleries, Bloomfield Richwood and the Lawrenson Gallery will have exhibits running the entire week.
