Hawks Nest Tunnel Disaster Presentation and Dinner

Join John Cavendish as he delves into the history behind the Hawks Nest Diversion Tunnel. The construction of this tunnel, which diverts water from the New River to a hydroelectric plant downstream, is considered to be one of the worst industrial disasters in American history. Presentation package includes lodging at Hawks Nest lodge, dinner for two at the Overlook Restaurant featuring stunning views of the Hawks Nest gorge, the presentation at 7pm and an express breakfast the following morning.
