68th Annual Farmer’s Day Celebration

June 2, 2023 @ 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Union’s favorite tradition- Farmer’s Day. This year we will celebrate “Wild & Free in 2023.” Loads of events on Friday and Saturday. Highlights include a street dance, a huge parade, a horse show, and Farmer’s Day Raffle with live music. Schedule to follow.

FRIDAY

  • 8pm to 11pm – Street Dance
    • Buddy Allen and Cheat River Band
    • Kids’ activities by Hillbilly Fun

SATURDAY

  • 7-10am – Pancake Breakfast, Union Senior Center
  • 7:45am – Farmer’s Day 5K, 10K and Fun Walk, Courthouse
  • 8am – Registration for Horse Show and Parade
    • All equine to Hinkle Farm
    • All parade entries to Mountain View Drive
  • 10am – Presentations
    • Royalty recognition
    • Scholarship recognition
  • 10am – Monroe County Historical Society Museum open
  • 10am – Children’s Hillbilly Fun Are open
  • 11am – Grand Parade
  • 12pm – Union Pool opens
  • 12:30 to 3pm – Cruise-In Classic Car Show, Main Street
    • Meet Miss West Virginia, Elizabeth Lynch
    • Meet Miss Dairy Princess, Helen McCarty
    • Register at Wilson Bros Auto Parts, NAPA
  • 1:30pm – Horse Show
    • @ Hinkle Farm on Willow Bend Rd
