Beach Nite Band- 4th of July Celebration

The Beach Nite Band is a quartet of professional musicians and a highly qualified sound engineer that has been providing live entertainment to delighted audiences for several decades. Beach Nite Band consists of three vocalists, two keyboards, two brass instruments, and drums. The group is based in western Virginia, southern West Virginia region. The group members are:

Ronnie McCall – Trumpet and Vocals
Randy Gilliam – Drums
Deaton Jones – Keyboards, Trumpet/Trombone, and Vocals
Steve Mattox – Technician – Sound Engineer

The Beach Nite Band performers as well as our sound engineer are privileged to have been members of The Collegians (Bluefield, WV) for more than 20 years. While we nor anyone else could replace The Collegians, we hope to honor and carry forward the musical entertainment traditions forged by that outstanding band.
Our musical menu is based on the Carolina beach music tradition which includes soul, R&B, disco, blues, boogie, and memorable oldies. Along with our versions of Carolina beach music favorites we mix in selected pop, party, and even a few country music titles.
