IMPORTANT COVID SAFETY INFORMATION
The Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce is closely monitoring COVID-19 Variants that have caused an uptick in cases around the country. Below are some steps the Chamber is taking to have a safe 2021 Business After Hours Program.
Vaccinations:
The COVID-19 vaccine is the most successful method to prevent yourself from contracting COVID-19. The vaccine means more freedom. Freedom to conduct commerce, freedom to interact, and freedom to return to normal. We are encouraging all attendees who have not yet taken the vaccine to get it. Vaccinating more individuals is the only way to put a complete end to this pandemic. If you are not yet vaccinated, we strongly encourage you to assess the potential personal health risks of attending this event.

We all know that the natural method of greeting someone – especially in a business setting – is to shake their hand. Given the rise of the Delta Variant, we are asking that all attendees refrain from shaking hands with each other at Business After Hours events. We know that this can be a bit awkward, but avoiding it will help reduce physical contact. If you inadvertently forget and attempt to shake someone’s hand and they refuse, please don’t be offended.

The Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to more Business After Hours events this year. All of us are eager to “return to normal” and resume events such as this.
