The Great Guyandotte River Regatta & Float Trip

The Guyandotte Water Trail Alliance and the National Coal Heritage Area Authority invite local residents to fill the Guyandotte River with kayaks and canoes and join in on the Great Guyandotte River Regatta and Float to be held at five separate locations along the Guyandotte River on July 14, 2018. Registration will begin at all locations at 8AM and kayakers and canoers will hit the water at 10AM. Each float will last for approximately two hours with some sites providing additional activities in addition to the river float.
The recommended age for participation is eight years old and above. Participants will be required to wear a Coast Guard approved personal floatation (PFD) while participating. A limited number of PFDs will be available for loan at each site.
