The Passing of Pearl is the tale of three women who have worked at a local diner in Memphis since the 1960’s. The diner, like these women, has witnessed the racial struggles of the changing times of the south. The owner, Pearl passes away and her daughter plans to sell the historic diner. The two remaining women struggle to deal with life after the diner.
