Trekking WV's Wild & Open Wilderness
New River Gorge National Park and Preserve – Grandview
Part of the New River Gorge National Park & Preserve, this section has spectacular views of the river as well as hiking trails and a seasonal visitor center. Every summer, Theatre West Virginia presents captivating performances at the outdoor theater.
Little Beaver State Park
Enjoy fishing in the 18-acre Little Beaver Lake or rent a paddleboat. The park features hiking and biking trails, a playground, picnic pavilions and an activities building with a game room. Camping & RV Hookups are also available.
Burning Rock Outdoor Adventure Park
Add a little adventure to your vacation. At Burning Rock, you can hit the trails with your own ATV, UTV, Jeep, truck or dirt bike. Burning Rock also has camping and cabins available.
Lake Stephens
This Raleigh County park features a pristine mountain lake, beach, Aqua Water Park, Sprinkler Splash Pad, water sports, a marina, a full service campground, RV Sites, cabins, picnic pavilions, an overlook and playgrounds.
