Whitewater Whirl is back for 2023. Mark your calendars for May 5-7 for a fantastic dance weekend in the beautiful New River Gorge National River area of West Virginia.
There will be two bands: Playing With Fyre from North Carolina features George Paul (keyboards), Rob Zisette (fiddle), and Steve Kemble (percussion) along with Trillium from Ohio features Mark Delozier (piano), Mark Barsamian (fiddle) and Zeke Hutchinson (mandolin and accordion).
Our callers will be Gaye Fifer (who’s called every Whirl since we started 16 years ago) and Terry Doyle.
We dance in a wonderful wood and stone New Deal Era hall with a suspended wooden floor and barn door sides opened or closed to suit the weather. Free cabins and tent camping. Meal plan with vegan options.
