Tamarack Dinner Theatre: On Golden Pond

On Golden Pond is the love story of Ethel and Norman Thayer, who are returning to their summer home on Golden Pond for the forty-eighth year. They are visited by their daughter and her new fiancé; who leaves his teenage son behind for the summer. The boy quickly becomes the “grandchild” the elderly couple longed for, and Norman revels in fishing trips and sharing books with the boy. As the summer wanes, so does their brief idyll. They realize that time is now against them, but they grow closer together. They wonder if they will have another summer on Golden Pond.
