The annual Sweet Treats Celebration is being held at the Beckley Intermodal Gateway Plaza on Neville Street in conjunction with Raleigh County Schools Day of Arts and Music. This is a fund-raiser for the United Way. Attendees can sample a variety of desserts (12-3pm) and drinks at vendor booths and uptown businesses. Free entertainment will be featured from 11am to 4pm. Tickets may be purchased in advance ($5 for 5 sample tickets, door prize entry and people’s choice ballot) with a limited number available on event day.
