What it’s all about: 
Join potter, Chris Boyd, in learning a few basic techniques of hand-building with clay. Students will create a few simple projects, such as pinch pots, flat ornaments & a slab tray.
Join potter, Chris Boyd, in learning a few basic techniques of hand-building with clay. Students will create a few simple projects, such as pinch pots, flat ornaments & a slab tray.
The class will take two hours (30 minutes instruction, 1 hour guided creation time, then 30 minutes of cleanup, questions, and recap).
The follow-up class will be held in November after the pieces have dried, and are bisque fired. Chris will go overglazing techniques and you will be able to glaze your creations. After being fired again, you can pick up at the BAC holiday market!*Tickets for the second class will be available for purchase during the first.*
