Active SWV and the New River Gorge National River bring you the Get Active in the Park; Opt Outside Hike. The Opt Outside movement started as a way to encourage outdoor recreation instead of consumer shopping.
Join Active Southern West Virginia Community Captains and skip the long lines this Black Friday. Instead take a hike in the New River Gorge, meet at the Long Point parking at 2pm. It’s FREE, it’s BEAUTIFUL, and its already yours.
Meeting location and trail description: Meet at the Long Point Trail head to hike a 2.5 mile loop on the Timber Ridge, Fayetteville and Long Point trails.
