Each year hundreds of people come to Summersville to attend the annual Potato Festival and celebrate “potato farming” which is a significant part of Nicholas County’s heritage. This two day family friendly festival has parades, contests, live music and more. Events include Tater Tot & Mashed potato eating contests, potato sack race and more!
