Set in the Raleigh County area, the story revolves around a family who has recently fallen on hard times and has been presented with the opportunity for a gas company to drill on their land. The cast, crew, musicians, writers, and directors are all from right here in West Virginia, making this one of the only contemporary musical theatre productions being performed in the area.
Directed again by local legend Robby Moore (Beckley Art Center, Treehouse Arts Ensemble), and musical director Jon Hawkins, the musical features 8 original songs written by Beckley native, Jeremy Scarborough and originally arranged by Kid In The Background with Long Point String Band.
