“Where the Old Meets the New”
The 58th Annual West Virginia State Water Festival returns to Hinton and Summers County from July 22nd through July 29th.
A week of activities are planned that will include the annual Fireman’s Parade with Fireworks to follow, the Queen’s Coronation, the Water Festival Parade, the Street Dance, and the return of the Queen’s Ball.
The week-long schedule kicks off Saturday, July 22nd with a morning float trip on the New River followed by a live concert in town from 7pm-9pm by local favorite Jonben Slate and a night swim sponsored by the City at Wild Water Express. A special Food Truck Event, Gospel Music and Church open house plus a special dinner for the Queen and Court will be new features of this year’s event.
