Adairs Run is a country group based in Nashville, TN with a fiery edge. Their sound encompasses the roots from rock and roll all the way to melodies that tie into the heart felt story telling in today’s country music.  The band is made up of members Todd Hanchock, Pat Pollifrone, Ian Daugherty and Chad Yarger.  Proceeds benefit the Princeton & Bluefield Salvation Army.

MOUNTAINSIDE BAROQUE @ Woodrow Wilson HS Auditorium

Established in 2011 by co-directors Ryan Mullaney and Lyle Nordstrom,Mountainside Baroque performances feature some of the finest professional musicians and specialists from across the country.

They are known for their excellent performances of music written before 1800 and the use of reproductions of instruments of that time. One of the hallmarks of Mountainside Baroque concerts is a consistent commitment to historically informed performance and the use of reproductions of instruments of the time, including lute, the orbo, recorder, viola da gamba, harpsichord, Baroque oboe, flute and bassoon, and Baroque violin, viola and cello.

New River Gorge Wildflower Weekend @ West Virginia National & State Parks

Are you ready for spring?  Explore the area’s natural diversity at programs in New River Gorge National River, Babcock State Park, Hawks Nest State Park, Little Beaver State Park, Pipestem Resort State Park, and Tamarack.

All programs are free! Bring water and wear sturdy hiking shoes for guided walks. Snacks, binoculars, a hand lens, and a favorite field guide are also useful.

26th Annual Kids Fishing Derby @ Little Beaver State Park

Discover the joys of fishing and develop an appreciation of WV streams, rivers and wildlife at this annual event. We welcome kids 14 and under and their families.  Bring basic fishing gear.
