WILD’s mission is to provide opportunities for outdoor professionals and first responders to learn the necessary skills to help them progress with technical, medical, and educational courses and training in their respective fields. WILD is a non-profit organization located in Southern West Virginia dedicated to the progression of outdoor technical skills. Becoming an outdoor professional or first responder in such an area requires the need for education and learning to safely navigate an outdoor space. Utilizing the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve and Gauley National Recreation areas as a venue for training and education creates a perfect environment to teach the courses and certifications for hands-on learning in world class outdoor settings.
