The Rustic Mechanicals, West Virginia’s Shakespeare troupe, is proud to announce its return to BEX for a special performance at the Youth Museum of Southern West Virginia on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at 3 PM.
As a staple of the West Virginia arts scene, The Rustic Mechanicals are known for their high-energy, accessible, and “rustic” approach to the works of William Shakespeare. This upcoming performance in Beckley continues the troupe’s mission of bringing world-class theatre to communities across the Appalachian region, making Shakespeare’s timeless stories relatable and engaging for modern audiences of all ages.
The performance is scheduled for Sunday, July 26, at the Youth Museum of Southern WV, located on the grounds of the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine. Attendees can expect a dynamic production that blends classical text with the troupe’s signature Appalachian aesthetic.
