33rd Annual Beckley’s Kids Classic Festival – September 7-12, 2026 Schedule:

Sep 7 (Mon – Labor Day)
Home Run Derby at Beckley Little League Field •registration 5:30 pm • Derby starts at 6 pm• Ages 8 and up • $5 entry fee • Winners receive medal & cash!

Sep 8-12 (Tue-Sat)
One free game of Bowling at Leisure Lanes • when accompanied by a paying adult • 10am-9pm • Call 304-253-7328 for lane availability

Sep 8 (Tue)
The Raleigh County Library will host a Lego Building Contest themed around the festival’s theme of Under the Big Top • 4-6 pm • No registration required • Ages 6-12

Sep 9 (Wed)
Salvation Army Red Shield Youth Center • Open House • 5:30-7:30 pm • Free activities in the gym • 2871 Robert C. Byrd Dr.

Sep 10 (Thu)
Painting Party at Pottery Place • $10 for 8×10 canvas • 5 pm • Pre-register in-person or call 304-253-8777

Sep 11 (Fri)
An Evening at the Youth Museum & Exhibition Coal Mine • 6-8 pm featuring magic show, balloon animals, and a Touch a Truck Exhibit! Discounted admission for inside Youth Museum & the Mine Tour • $5

Saturday • Sep 12
Street Fair and Parade 10 am – 2 pm,
Booths, games, activities & food vendors will line the streets along Main & Fayette, Federal Plaza & Shoemaker Square.
Day of Activities:
Beckley Fire Dept. Junior Firefighters Challenge • Fayette St beside the courthouse
United Bank Fun Fall Festivities • Enjoy games, prizes & inflatables for $5 • Spin the prize wheel for an additional $5 for a big win!
PAR-TEE Mini Golf with Seed Sowers • Shoemaker Square
Festival Parade at 11 am • Characters, mascots, bands, dancers, teams, festival royalty • Youth, schools, organizations & businesses are welcome to participate • Consider games, princesses or superhero costumes • Theme: Under the Big Top
Cincinnati Circus • Street performer on Heber St. pre-parade • Circus Show at 12:30 pm at Federal Plaza on Heber St.
