This event is a fundraiser for the Community Garden Program at Sunset Farm, led by Farmer Jennifer, who is guiding the farm through a meaningful transition:

Why This MattersSunset Farm is answering a growing call to address food security by creating space for every family to grow food of their own.
The new mission is rooted in the belief that when communities garden together, they grow stronger—both in food security and in connection.
By shifting to a shared-growing model, Sunset Farm is working to ensure:

A Marketplace with PurposeAs part of this vision, Sunset Farm has created the Appalachian Marketplace, a social enterprise that allows:
• Community gardeners to sell their excess produce
• Local farmers to reach new customers
• Local crafters and makers—especially entrepreneurs without access to a brick-and-mortar storefront—to sell their goods in a supportive, local setting

About TicketsPurchasing a ticket is optional and not required to attend. We want everyone to feel welcome and enjoy the event.
100% of ticket proceeds will be used to provide free garden space to families in our community, helping more people grow their own food and become part of a stronger, more connected local food system.
