Beckley WV Rhododendron Festival

During the month of May, the Beckley-Raleigh County area celebrates spring and beautiful rhododendron blooms by offering the Rhododendron Festival with events such as:
– Rhododendron photo contest with Active SWV,
– Sweet Treats / Preparedness Fair / Bill Withers Memorial Festival at BIG on May 14,
-Rhododendron Pickleball Tourney at New River Park on May 14,
– Rhododendron painting class at the library on May 14,
– Beckley Founders Day at Wildwood on May 21,
– Cruise to Grandview and walks with a ranger on May 22,
Rhodoboogie Car & Bike Show on May 28 at BIG,
plus other local events that are tied into the festival
