Raleigh County Veterans Museum, Inc.

Southern West Virginia's Veterans has a dream of creating a museum. Two buildings now house over 30,000 artifacts. You will see notable exhibits from WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. Our Navy Exhibits include the 132ND model of an American Battleship, the USS West Virginia BB-48 as well as the largest public display of the relics from the battleship. Hours of operation: May - November 11th. Friday & Saturday 11am to 4pm. Tours on other days are available by appointment. Admission is $5, children 5 and under are free. Special Healing Field each November with flags to honor someone special who served our country. Flags are $5 and names will be read at special ceremony.
