With tasting rooms and tours, visiting a local distillery, brewery or winery is a great way to spent a cold, winter day.
Distilleries
Smooth Ambler Spirits
Smooth Ambler Spirits is an artisan, small batch distillery located just outside of Lewisburg. They make whiskey and bourbon using local and regional ingredients. Their whiskey and bourbon still is on display along with a tasting room, gift shop and retail area.
Kirkwood Winery & Isaiah Morgan Distillery
Kirkwood Winery & Isaiah Morgan Distillery is located in Summersville, WV, and features a variety of wine as well as small-batch whiskey. The winery and distillery are open daily for tastings and tours – a perfect pitstop to stock up on your favorite beverage.
Hawk Knob Hard Cider and Mead
Come try Hawk Knob’s Appalachian hard cider and mead just outside of Lewisburg. Tours and tastings available for a truly unique yet traditional mountain specialty. Hawk Knob offers over four styles of locally grown artisanal hard cider and several fine meads.

Bridge Brew Works
Bridge Brew Works is known for their Long Point Lager and Mountain Momma Pale Ale along with their specialty Belgian-style beers, from light and refreshing lagers to strong stouts.
Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company
Located in Lewisburg, Greenbrier Valley Brewing shows off their love for West Virginia with the names of their beers: Mothman Black IPA, Zona’s Revenge, Devil Anse IPA and Wild Trail Pale Ale.
Weathered Ground Brewery
Located on farmland in Ghent, Weathered Ground creates small batch farmhouse ales made with local ingredients. In their taproom, you’ll find 15 rotating taps! Some of their most popular brews are More Haggard Than Haggard IPA, Enniskillen Dry Irish Stout and Cool Ridge Lager.
Dobra Zupas
This restaurant and brewpub is the first and only craft brewery in Beckley and offers eight beers crafted in-house, along with a unique menu! Be sure to check out the 304 Amber ale or Total Eclipse IPA.

Old World Libations
