The early bird gets the worm – or in this case, a spectacular sunrise! For all you early risers, Bridge Walk in Lansing is offering a sunrise walk on April 1. The view as you stride safely across the catwalk of the New River Gorge bridge is stunning on any occasion, but a sunrise walk is truly a sight to behold – and it only happens once a year! Glade Springs
Go down the rabbit hole this Easter! The Resort at Glade Springs has an Alice in Wonderland themed package March 30 – April 1. The package includes a two night stay, daily breakfast buffet, and all kinds of themed activities for the kids. On Easter Sunday, enjoy brunch in the Bright Ballroom. Celebrate Easter at Adventures on the Gorge! A massive buffet awaits you on April 1 as you dine on the rim of the New River Gorge. Enjoy everything from smoked salmon and salads to quiche and shepherd’s pie, plus a carving station with glazed ham and prime rim. And don’t forget dessert! Cupcakes and cake pops are The Blue Spoon’s specialty! Pick up a dozen cupcakes adorned with candy rabbits, Easter eggs, and colorful icing for $30. Cake pops are $25 for per dozen. Call this Bluefield eatery to place your order, but hurry – orders for these tasty treats must be placed by March 26!
