Join the Greenbrier Historical Society on Saturday, December 13th for a special workshop with Jennifer Daniel, Education Coordinator at the Roanoke Historical Society! Witch balls once adorned English windows and are the likely forerunner of the gazing ball and Christmas ball. They were thought to have trapped evil spirits and protected homes. Settlers brought the tradition to the colonies, and now we are studying them today! Step back in time and make your own witch ball while learning the history and techniques of the trade.
Sessions last approximately one hour, one at 10AM and 2PM. Tickets are $25 each. Limited space is available–12 slots per session. Purchase tickets today at https://bit.ly/ghswitchballworkshops!
