The annual event gives novice and returning anglers the opportunity to fish without a license. DESCRIPTION:The race is set in beautiful Little Beaver State Park and includes trails and roadways and supports Leaps of Faith Dance Team. The race starts at Shelter #2. The first leg is on the walking path around the lake. It then ventures up the mountain to the campground and down the hill on the road. The last leg is around the lake on the road and finishes just yards away from Shelter #2. The 2 Mile Walk circles the walking path two times and finishes on the playground side of Shelter #2. 5K medals will be given for 1st\, 2nd\, and third places for men\, women\, child\, and youth. 2M Walk medals will be given for adult\, child\, and youth.

The theme as always is “Get Hooked on Fishing\, Not on Drugs”.  Parents are urged to attend this event with their children and make it a family outing.  We welcome kids 14.  Bring basic fishing gear. Lunch and a limited supply of bait will be provided.  Registration is from 8:30am to 10:30am and kids must be registered to be eligible for prizes.  There will also be archery and hayrides activities.\nChildren may fish anytime after registering. The 5K run will take place on roads in the park and around the lake including one small section of trail.\nThe 2 Mile Walk will be on the walking trail around the lake that is often the practice trail for area track teams. \nThis race is hosted by the Leaps of Faith Dance Team. \nRegistration will be in Shelter #1 beginning at 7 AM and the race begins at 8 AM.
