Honey in the Rock is the original Theatre West Virginia production first staged on the Grandview Stage in the summer of 1961, this Civil War Drama tells the story of the founding of the state of West Virginia.

Tuesday night is Cucumber Night anyone bringing in a fresh cucumber to the box office gets in FREE on Tuesday, July 13 to see the Civil War Drama Honey in the Rock. Walk-ups only to trade the vegetable for tickets (sorry no presale tickets). Pre-show music by local singer-songwriter Seth Hughes starts at 6:30 PM and the show starts at 7:30 PM. Wednesday night Theatre West Virginia makes you the TWV General Manager for the night, and you get to set the price of your tickets… It’s Pay What You Wish Wednesday, ticket prices will be completely up to you, maybe $5.00, maybe $10.00, maybe $1.00, maybe $50.00 a ticket, its completely up to YOU the GM for the night of Theatre West Virginia. Walk-ups only name the price of their tickets (sorry no presale tickets). Pre-Show music starts at 6:30 PM by local singer-songwriter Seth Hughes and the show starts at 7:30 PM. Thursday night is Church Bulletin night at Theatre West Virginia just bring in your church bulletin and trade it in on a ticket to “Honey in the Rock” on Thursday, July 15. One Bulletin will allow a family of five into the show. And this year for those who are not affiliated with a church, just bring in an 8×10 blank sheet of paper and we will trade that for tickets. Walk-ups only to trade their bulletin for tickets (sorry no presale tickets). Pre-Show music starts at 6:30 PM by local singer-songwriter Seth Hughes and the show starts at 7:30 PM.
