One fabric piece will be available to each student\, as well. \n  \nMaterials List:\nAll materials will be provided; however\, it is optional for students to bring from home or gather from nature their own objects to create their photograms with. Examples of different types of objects that can be utilized will be below. \n\nflowers\, any kind (pressed or fresh)\nleaves\, weeds\, grass\nfeathers\npaper – cut into shapes\nsmall glass bottles\, any smaller glass objects\npaperclips\, pens\, pencils\, paintbrushes\nearrings\, broaches\, necklaces\, rings\n4×5 negatives\, any kind of see-through paper or acetate\n\nThe possibilities are endless! \nBonus * Instructions for printing acetate negatives from your home printer will be provided during the class.

SUMMARY:New River Birding & Nature Festival
DESCRIPTION:Virtual Festival\, 2021We will present a Virtual ‘21 NRBNF. While it cannot be the same as spending time with you in the field\, we hope to share some joy and laughs. Join us on Facebook starting Sunday evening\, April 25\, through Saturday\, May 1 during our regular Festival week for daily bird watching\, photo and video highlights\, stories\, raffles\, discussions\, and t-shirts. “Favorite” our Facebook page so you don’t miss any details or action!\nWhat’s this I hear about a new National Park?\nThe wild and wonderful\, almost heaven New River Gorge National River and National Park Service areas are now officially designated National Park & Preserve. Yep\, the 63rd National Park and 20th Preserve in the U.S.! Take a peek at the proposed boundaries from our Senator’s office.\n\nIf you’re considering traveling to the area to bird on your own\, keep an eye on our upcoming page Birding the New River Gorge National Park. Currently\, under construction\, it will contain links\, maps\, descriptions as well as birding and nature information to help you have a safe and adventurous self-guided experience.\nLet’s Keep in Touch\nAs always\, please reach out to us with questions and conversation. Prolonged isolation isn’t good for anyone. Even the steadfast introvert needs human interaction from time to time. Though good in a pinch\, volleyballs\, coconuts\, and mops aren’t excellent conversationalists. “No judgment here\,” says Frankie the rescued snail from its terrarium on Rachel’s desk. What…?!\n\nWe appreciate your friendship\, understanding\, and support\, and we’re hoping to see you all in 2022\, May 2 – 7\, if not sooner.\n\nBe well. Stay well. Keep one another well.\n\nRachel\, Geoff\, Keith\, Paul\n\n#nrbnf #alwaysbirding #birding-wv

One fabric piece will be available to each student\, as well. \n**Parents are welcome and encouraged to stay and participate in the workshop! \n  \nMaterials List:\nAll materials will be provided; however\, it is optional for students to bring from home or gather from nature their own objects to create their photograms with.
