SUMMARY:10-mile Bluestone Turnpike Hike
DESCRIPTION:Start hiking at 10:00 a.m. from the patio at Mountain Creek Lodge. Ride the aerial tram down to Mountain Creek for this 10 mile hike from Pipestem State Park to Bluestone State Park. Wear good shoes\, bring a light lunch (sandwiches and such)\, and plenty of water. A shuttle returns hikers to Pipestem around 4:00 p.m.\nPreregistration recommended due to limited shuttle space. Sign up at the nature center or call Julie McQuade. Allow about 4-5 hours for the Bluestone Turnpike Hike. Hike leader is a National Park Service Ranger.

This\, he learns\, was a mistake. He clashes with the head nurse\, a fierce martinet. Quickly\, he takes over the yard and accomplishes what the medical profession has been unable to do for twelve years; he makes a presumed deaf and dumb Native American talk. He leads others out of introversion\, stages a revolt so that they can see the World Series on television\, and arranges a rollicking midnight party with liquor and chippies. For one offense\, the head nurse has him submit to shock treatment. The party is too horrid for her and she forces him to submit to a final correction a frontal lobotomy.
