DESCRIPTION:Color Play – the newest exhibit at the Youth Museum will be on display until Dec. 31\, 2017.\nColor plays a vitally important role in the world in which we live. In art\, color can produce a mood or atmosphere\, create space\, light and shadow. On a human level\, color can sway thinking\, change actions and cause reactions. Scientifically color can irritate or soothe your eyes\, raise your blood pressure or suppress your appetite. \nThe exhibit has 14 hands-on components and at the different stations major concepts are explores such as white light\, prisms\, pixel colors\, color mixing\, afterimages\, layering\, color patterns and more. \nMuseum hours area daily 10am to 6pm.
