- CoalTown Christmas Bazaar, 11 am to 5 pm at the Jack Caffrey Arts & Culture Center.
- CoalTown Christmas Parade, line up at 6:30 pm on Stewart St, with Parade starting at 7:00 pm ending at Martha Moore Park.
- Tree Lighting directly after the parade with free hot chocolate, cookies, and caroling.

- CoalTown Express Trolley Ride to the Pocahontas Theatre to watch The Polar Express
Thursday, December 9 & 16
- CoalTown Trolley of Lights, Ride our trolley for a Christmas light tour of Welch.
