The drama “Terror of the Tug” by Jean Battlo will be performed July 28th at 8pm. Bring a lawn chair and settle in under the stars for a WV History Lesson while being entertained. The story is about the WV Mining Wars and the shooting of Matewan’s Sid Hatfield and Ed Chambers on the Welch Courthouse Steps on August 1, 1921 by the Baldwin-Felts agents.
Admission prices as of 2018 are $10 for adults and $5 for children 6-12.
