Of his movie-going habits Joey says, “I love anything horror but I lean towards ghost stories. I’ve been a fan my whole life and was drawn to Friday the 13th movies at a very young age. I enjoy Stephen King books and movies, as well.”

In regards to his selection for this month’s Mystery Horror Screening he says, “The movie I picked is unique and should appeal to a variety of horror movie fans… It’s a Halloween season movie that came out somewhat recently with a few twists to it.” $5, recommended 16+

September 26 – Moonlight Sonata is a deeply personal memoir about a deaf boy growing up, his deaf grandfather growing old, and Beethoven the year he was blindsided by deafness and wrote his iconic sonata. Their lives weave a story about what we discover when we push beyond loss.
