Run the Summit – April 9, 2022
Join Active Southern WV for running and walking race events at the Summit Bechtel Reserve. Choose between the Grin and Bear It Half Marathon, Grouse Flush 10K, or Rare Raising 5K. Bring the kids for a free Deer Dash Kids Sprint. The 5K race has a walking option, too.
Join Active Southern WV for running and walking race events at the Summit Bechtel Reserve. Choose between the Grin and Bear It Half Marathon, Grouse Flush 10K, or Rare Raising 5K. Bring the kids for a free Deer Dash Kids Sprint. The 5K race has a walking option, too.
These races will include online registration, chip timing, aid stations, event t-shirt, finish line photos, finisher medals, and top finisher medals per 10 year age group.
Registration will open on January 19, 2022, at 12 pm.
Race registration includes an Appalachian-themed lunch and additional lunch tickets can be purchased for the family.
This event is rain or shine and racers will be provided safety guidelines, full driving and check-in directions, and online access to finisher results.
This event is a series of Signature Events hosted by Active SWV with all proceeds supporting free local physical activities programs and events.
