Social isolation and the new realities of a COVID-19 world have many looking for ways to connect and to process a situation that may seem surreal and almost impossible to understand. Poetry and Prose from the Pandemic is an online/virtual workshop facilitated by Carnegie Hall President/CEO Sara Crickenberger and intended to connect writers and provide a format to encourage using creativity and language to work through the tragedies and absurdities of life in a pandemic. The workshop is anopportunity to write in a chosen genre or genres — poetry, prose, song lyrics, journal entries, creative nonfiction, etc. This workshop is intended for ages 15 and up and is limited to 12 people. All experience levels are welcome. The workshop will meet via Zoom from 7-8 p.m. Tuesdays for four weeks (May 26 to June 16).
