Oak Hill’s Annual Halloween Festival (Mayhem on Main)

Schedule of Events:

Saturday October 22nd
8am: 2nd Annual Spooktacular Scavenger Hunt
11:30am: Coffin Race Registration (beside The Depot)
1-5pm: 1st Annual Coffin Race (on rail trail)

Thursday October 27th
5-8pm: Pumpkin Registration/Drop off (pumpkin house on Main Street)
Pumpkin House lighting at dark
Pumpkins will be lit each night until October 31st.

Saturday October 29th
5:30-6:45pm: Candy Booth Setup on Main St.
7pm-10pm: Trick or Treat at Candy Booths on Main Street

2nd Annual Spooktacular Scavenger Hunt 
This Scavenger Hunt includes an adult category this year.

Please be kind and only collect 1 rock. We want to spread the Halloween Spirit to as many members of our community as we can.

31 painted Jack O Lantern (kids 14 & younger) and 31 painted Ghost (adult 15 & older) rocks are placed along Main Street, Jones Ave, the City Park, and the Rail to Trail.
$5 Gift Certificate goes to the Fangtastic Finders of rocks #1-30.
A Cauldron overflowing with Halloween goodies goes to the Frightful Finders of rocks #31

Each rock will be numbered on the back with directions on how to claim your prize. Simply message the Lively Family Amphitheater Facebook page with a photo of your rock and the prize is yours! Prizes must be picked up at City Hall.

As we get closer to the end of the competition, we will post a little hint of where the unfound rocks are hiding.

NEW 1st Annual Coffin Race 
The race will take place on the rail to trail on Saturday, October 22nd from 1pm-5pm

Our coffin has been equipped with a metal frame, wheels, rollbar, push bar, and seatbelt.
All teams will be required to sign a waiver and pay a $20 registration fee.
This will be a short distance timed race.
3 team members will push/steer and 1 team member will be seated in the coffin.

Top 3 teams with the best time will receive the following prize. 
1st Place: $200 & Trophy
2nd Place: $100 & Trophy
3rd Place: $75 & Trophy
*Teams must be in costume*
Registration starts at 12pm.

Teams of 4 are required due to the size and weight of our coffin.
Racers must be 16 years and older.

 Pumpkin Carving Contest 
Registration/Drop off will be:

 Winners announced Friday, October 28th
Prizes & Trophy pick up: Friday at 7pm
at The Pumpkin House

Unlimited pumpkin submissions are accepted.
No registration fee

Please keep top of pumpkin in tact. Cut hole in the bottom to remove pumpkin guts. This is for lighting purposes.

The Pumpkin House will be lit up every evening beginning Thursday, October 27th to Monday, October 31st.

Trick or Treat Candy Booths 

This event is FREE to the public. No fee for registering pumpkins or for enjoying the candy booths.
