Kids’ Fishing Derby

Catch fish, win prizes, and make memories on a spring Saturday near Beckley! Kids 17 and under get an exclusive chance to hook stocked trout and even take home the fillets. The third annual Kids’ Trout Derby features three 90-minute sessions. Children must be accompanied by an adult and should bring their own tackle. Prizes will be awarded and refreshments will be provided.
Sessions:
Session 1 – 8:00 – 9:30am: Ages up to 12
Session 2 – 10:00 – 11:30am: Ages up to 12
Session 3 – 1:00 – 2:30pm: Ages up to 17
Details:
– $30/child
– Pre-register by April 6 to reserve your spot (day-of registrations available on first-come, first-served basis)
– Children must be accompanied by an adult
– Maximum 40 fishermen in each session
– Catch and keep up to 3 trout!
– Complimentary popcorn and beverages
– Door prizes
– Tagged fish for prizes!
– Someone will be available to fillet fish (no charge)
