Butter Chicken Pictures presents the debut GRAVELY and PIERCE feature, “It’s Gonna Be a Punk Rock Summer.” The Butter Chicken Pictures team is a small group of locals who have created mostly short films but over a couple weeks in the summer of 2016 somehow got it together enough to film a feature length piece.
Shot predominantly here in Beckley, WV, the film was written/directed by David Gravely and Shane Pierce and produced by Saja Montague. This micro-budget comedy explores life in a small town when you’re a frustrated 20-something. It’s a coming of age story about people who feel like they’re still coming of age.
