Celebrating McDowell County’s Rich Hungarian Heritage

Guest Speaker: Dr. Briane Turley, native West Virginian and member of the History Department’s Graduate Faculty at WVU. Turley currently serves as Research Fellow at the Corvinus Institute for Advanced Studies in Budapest, Hungary, and is Director of the Appalachian Hungarian Heritage Project. Sponsored by Corvinus University of Budapest and the Corvinus Institute for Advanced Studies in partnership with West Virginia University’s Department of History. $5 suggested donation.
