New River Gorge National Park and Preserve Sandstone Visitors Center
Features map of the entire New River watershed on the lobby floor, exhibits, picnic tables, video program, beautiful views. Sandstone Visitor Center is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in spring, summer, and fall. For the winter of 2024, while Canyon Rim Visitors Center is being renovated, this center will remain open daily from 9am to 5pm. Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day.
