Visitor Services

Southern West Virginia welcomes all visitors and we want to make sure that everyone has all the information needed to navigate our region.

When researching our area you can request specific information from the local convention and visitors bureaus, travel agents or tourism bureaus. There are also West Virginia information centers along both I-64 and I-77. These centers have free literature on the state and can help with directions and lodging reservations.

There are several airports and airlines that service our region. The state’s largest airport, Yeager in Charleston, is within an hour’s drive of the southern part of our state. Once you arrive you can rent a vehicle, local taxi or limo. There is also a motorcoach company available for group tours.

For families who want to experience an adventure that their child may not be ready for, there is a licensed day care facility that caters to out of state travelers.

While you are visiting southern West Virginia our local churches welcome anyone who would like to attend services.
