Every year for 33 years a college swim team reconnects during a beach vacation where they celebrate the joys and share the challenges of children, marriage, career choices and aging. Vernadette is the groups hard luck story. Lexie is the self-absorbed one, and Sheree, was the team captain, who plans every detail. Dinah is the martini-making attorney, and Jeri Neal undergoes the most changes during the course of the story. Laughter and tears punctuate this classic tale of womens lives, and how well they live when they can count on lifelong friends.
