Thurmond Triathlon
August 2022. The seventh Thurmond Triathlon, a beginner triathlon, will take place in Thurmond and is open to anyone 7 years of age and older. Individuals, duos or families will bike from the Historic Thurmond Depot 2 miles to Stonecliff where they will then paddle 1.5 miles to the Dun Glen Day Use area. From there contestants will run a two mile loop around the Historic Town of Thurmond. Captain Thurmond's Challenge takes place the day before this family friendly event.
