Appalachian Makers Market (formerly Appalachian Festival)
August 26-27, 2022. Organized by the Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce, the Appalachian Festival is now in its 25th year. The week-long Festival includes collaborative partners such as Beckley Events, the Youth Museum, Daniel Vineyards, and Tamarack each hosting their own event throughout the week celebrating Appalachian culture. This year the Chamber is highlighting Appalachian cuisine and local businesses by incorporating a restaurant week into the Festival’s activities. The mission of the Festival continues through the years by adding new events and activities focused on life in Appalachia.
